1965 Champ Modified by Alessandro Amplifiers Item Description
This is a 1965 Fender Champ which has been rewired and modified by the well-respected Alessandro amplifier company. Alessandro has given the amp a handwired board with newer caps (still retaining the original transformers), and what’s really cool is the onboard Jupiter Condenser Company speaker. Mounted within the amplifer between the speaker and the grille is a condenser mic with an XLR output on the back of the cabinet so that you can essentially have this amplifier close-mic’d at all times. How incredibly helpful is that at a gig or in the studio? This Champ sounds wonderful and is in excellent cosmetic condition with just light wear around the tolex.
