1965 Starfire V Sunburst Item Description
A classic American-made semi-hollowbody from the mid ’60s hot-rodded for huge tones. This is a vintage 1965 Guild Starfire V in Sunburst. The Guild humbuckers were replaced at some point with a pair of double-cream DiMarzio pickups. From the looks of the aging on the backplates of the pickups, these appear to have been in the guitar for a long while. The guitar has appropriate playwear for its age: lacquer checking throughout and some areas of binding lifting in the cutouts of the body. Besides that, not many if any dents or dings! The original case is included.
