1968 SG Standard Cherry Red Item Description
A timeless Rock and Roll machine: this is a 1968 Gibson SG in Cherry Red with the Maestro tailpiece and large batwing pickguard. The guitar is in great shape for its age and still raring to go! The electronics within the guitar are all original. The tuners have been changed over time to correct-looking but from a later date Gibson Deluxe double-ring tuners, and there is a bit of finish touch-up on the back of the headstock where one of the wings was beginning to separate. The frets remain original and though they are low and have a bit of wear to them are still very playable. The body has its share of light players wear and it includes the original Gibson hardshell case!
