1993 D-28 1935 Authentic Special Dreadnought Natural Item Description
This is a Martin D-28 1935 Special from 1993, part of their Guitar of the Month series – only 237 of the guitar were made worldwide. The inspiration for the 1935 Special came from a specific piece that was in the Martin museum for many years hence the ’35 features such as a “V” shaped neck. Specs also include a spruce top with Indian rosewood for the back and sides, scalloped bracing, and a beautiful Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay. For a Martin of its age, this one is still super clean with no playwear on it! The original case is included.
