1999 1959 Les Paul Sunburst Item Description
Holy smokes just look at the top on this Les Paul! This is a 1999 Gibson Custom Shop ’59 with that outstanding top and a bit of genuine players wear to it. The guitar is in very good condition: there’s genuine wear to the body and headstock the top has taken the gloss down to an almost satin-like feel. There are areas of worming on the back of the body and a few dings on the top. The pickups are aftermarket Gibsons: a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge and Burstbucker 2 in the neck. The nickel hardware has some tarnishing to it, especially around the nickel pickup covers. The guitar plays wonderfully and is a true testament to the quality of those late ’90s Gibson Custom Shop guitars, which do keep proving that they’re becoming more and more collectible as time goes on. The original hardshell case is included.
