This is the new 1942 Banner J-45 as part of the excellent Epiphone Inspired by Gibson collection! This guitar pays ode to the timeless Gibson workhorse acoustic and doesn’t skimp on features or tonewoods: a Vintage Sunburst VOS finish is sprayed over a thermally aged solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, the classic Gibson headstock shape is used along with a bone nut and saddle and the historic-style red-line hardshell case. A nice modern feature is the addition of L.R. Baggs VTC electronics with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls which are a quality piece of hardware helpful for plugging in on stage and performing with!
