Here’s a great spin on a Tele that turns the model into an even bigger workhorse – a used 2022 Fender Custom Shop Caballo Tono Ligero, which translates into Light Tone Horse…which translates from gear speak to English as “simply awesome.” The guitar has a chambered ash body finished in Relic Black and loaded with two TV Jones Filter’Tron pickups. A nice touch is the AAA-grade flame maple neck carved to a comfy 10/56 “V” shape, too! All wear looks original to the instrument, and they meant lightwear on this one – it comes out to 6 lbs, 1 oz!
