Looking for a ’50s Tele reissue with just a perfect amount of relic wear? Here you go. This is a ’53 Tele masterbuilt by Vincent Van Trigt with a Journeyman Relic Nocaster Blonde finish over an ash body. Vincent carved the neck to a ’53 “Soft V” profile and used a gorgeous piece of AAA-grade birdseye maple as well. The pickups are a Curtis Novak Tele pickup in the neck and a Fender Custom Shop Handwound Twisted Tele in the bridge, and he used modern Tele wiring so that you can use the tone control on the neck pickup.
