1960s HSS Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic Black Masterbuilt Andy Hicks Item Description
This is a hot-rodded Strat with a crazy Super Heavy Relic finish and built Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilder Andy Hicks! It’s a 1960s Strat base model tweaked out with a quartersawn AA flame maple neck carved to a vintage-accurate 7.25-9.5″ radius that’s perfect for turning rhythm into lead playing bolted to an alder body. The electronics are where this one shines: two Josefina Handwound Poblano single-coils and a Duncan ’78 humbucker wired to a 5-way switch. The guitar has unique wiring from Andy where position two splits the bridge pickup to the screw coils and adds in the middle pickup for cleaning up tones. Underneath the pickguard, the body is also routed for a neck humbucker should you ever want to swap a pickguard for a HSH configuration. Pick up your next Masterbuilt guitar from The Music Zoo today!
Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, Case Candy and Paperwork
