Michigan Mahogany 1968 Telecaster Thinline Journeyman Relic Faded Aged Crimson Transparent 2023 Item Description
Originally spec’d and sold by The Music Zoo – this is a 2023 Fender Custom Shop ’68 Thinline Telecaster with a single-piece of mahogany sourced from Kalamazoo, Michigan for the body! The color is Faded Aged Crimson Transparent over mahogany, and then given a light Journeyman Relic treatment. The rift sawn maple neck give a nice snap to complement the midrange of the mahogany, and the set of handwound Twisted Tele pickups are on board. The hardware has some tarnishing to it, mostly on the bridge plate and Bigsby arm – all wear on the body is original. The case and COA are included!
