Everyone keeps talking about the 90s being back in style, and we’re down with it – so long as it includes fuzzy chorus tones, and that’s exactly what you get with this new pedal from Fuzzrocious: the Tyrannochorus. This one specifically is in a limited edition Music Zoo-Exclusive gold enclosure. It’s Fuzzrocious’ first chorus pedal paired perfectly with what they’re famous for: fuzz! With Tyrannochorus, you can use the chorus independent of the fuzz and kick it in when you want to go heavy. There’s a third top mounted momentary footswitch to send the chorus rate and depth into full-speed for short-lived fluttery madness, great for lead playing and solos that you want to stand out with.
Internally, there are trim pots for more depth control of the chorus as well as a clean blend and master tone for the fuzz which is perfect if you’re a bassist who wants to keep some dry signal in there for low-end. With its either subtle or over the top chorus, it’s perfect for Alternative, Hardcore, Shoegaze, Dub…you name the sub-genre and Tyrannochorus will nail it.
