The ’61 SG is back for a new generation – revamped with exciting new colors but all of the classic feel and tone of the model that’s made it a go-to for over 50 years. This is the Gibson SG Standard ’61 in Transluscent Teal. Features include a mahogany body with a SlimTaper mahogany neck, a bound rosewood fretboard and nickel hardware. You have a set of Gibson ’60s Burstbucker humbuckers for a great Hard Rock crunch with added power and top-end. Lastly, it’s wired up with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop caps. Each ’61 SG includes a quality Gibson padded leather gigbag.
