TR1S Koa Electric Guitar Natural Item Description
This jaw-dropping Landon TR1S is the definition of an elevated T-style guitar! This beautiful piece is packed with quality from the bottom up – it features a roasted swamp ash body and a gorgeous figured koa crotch top, as well as a roasted quartersawn maple neck. The roasting process eliminates excess moisture from the wood, creating not only a more aged appearance and rock-solid “broken-in” stability, but a more resonant and expressive tone. The 25.5″ scale asymmetrical shaped neck is topped with a flame maple fingerboard as well, and a very cool compound 7.25″ to 9.5″ radius, probably the only compound radius out there not geared toward the shredder ! This TR1S is also loaded with a pair of BareKnuckle Yardbird Vintage Hot T-style single coils, a Babicz bridge, and Hipshot tuners. The case is a very nice G&G case with a Landon embroidered logo.
Since we are the first Landon Guitars dealer, and this is one of the first guitars they’ve built, this TR1S does have some minor play wear in the form of some light surface swirling, not at all due to inexperience, but due to extensive play testing and sampling at Landon and at our store. Structurally and craftsmanship wise, it’s a perfect guitar!
