This gorgeous acoustic is a very lightly used and collectible 2023 Martin Limited Edition DSS Hops & Barley Dreadnought! it’s a guitar which pays homage to the key ingredients used in beer brewing, along with some use of unique tonewoods. We’re talking a sinker redwood top paired with hightly flamed walnut for the back and sides! The combination of the top and back woods gives this slope-shoulder dreadnought a balanced tone that will mellow out over time as you play the guitar. Cosmetics include European flamed maple/pearl binding, a Guatemalan rosewood headplate and pickguard (the pickguard is expertly inlaid directly into the redwood top) as well as Hops & Barley inlays made of abalone and pearl. With Authentic build features including hide glue construction and a dovetail neck joint, it’s combined with some modern features like Liquidmetal bridge pins to bridge the gap between vintage and modern Martin. Lastly, there are only 100 Hops and Barley DSS guitars made, each one signed by C. F. Martin IV on the interior paper label.
