The gloss black finish looks modern and sleek, painted over a solid torrified sitka spruce top paired with layered maple for the back and sides – giving this GP and bright and crisp sound. The roasting process for the spruce top adds a dash of extra depth and sweetness to the overall response, similar to what players would expect from an older, more played-in guitar.
